Brian Head Agate

by martyandersen on August 9, 2009

For family and friends I often look for local agate and jasper that I can cab and put into my Argentium Sterling jewelry.   This weekend we went to Brian Head, Utah and collected some great agate.  Here are some examples of what we found.

Showing off my Cabochons

by martyandersen on July 19, 2009

I’m sure I’ve mentioned in the past that much of my work contains cabochons that I have cut myself. I thought I would take a minute and show off. Above is a photo of some slabs that have been trimed and I am getting ready to preform the cabs. Below is a few pictures of some of my finished cabs.
