I had a really succesful weekend experience. The class I attended for Florida artists on promoting yourself and your business was fantastic. The material covered basics like assembling your portfolio and doing some essential PR, but also included things like grant applications, sources of additional information, and the importance of a website.

I have a new Tapestry Needleweaving article, complete with photos, available at http://www.susanspassionforjewelry.com/experts_diana_kirkpatrick.htm The current articles show how to design and produce a needlewoven necklace. Once the body of the necklace is completed, I’ll look at choices for the neckstraps, and discuss adding more beads and dangles to the necklace.
