Kevin Potter talks about the new design of his 20 ton Potter USA Hydraulic Jewelry Press…first run was in PURPLE…
This new style is stronger and only has welds in the compression state – no welds in a tension state. The press is also powder-coated purple. Other colors soon to follow. It takes a 20 ton jack – either standard height or low profile.
The 5 x 5 upper platen is magnetic.
It still contains all the features that made the previous models so popular: anti-tip platen; nylon platen guides; efficient tool mounting system; elegant design as well as all US-made components in the frame.

Kevin I know I ‘ve asked you this before but I’ve forgotten the exact prices. I’m interested in the 20 ton press. I need the power press but I remember the price being very high for me. I still want to know how much that runs and also the price of the hand powered. Also I know you mentioned that you have layaway. Exactly how does this work?
I know that sounds stupid but I’ve never used layaway so don’t really know how it works. Thank you for your help. I’m so impressed with everything you do and the kind of man you are. I tell everyone I know about your products.
