Blog-o-sphere Think Tank: Your Favorite Tool

by Robyn Hawk on April 20, 2012

Our Blog-o-sphere Think Tank Topic For April is…Your Favorite Tool!

Yeah – like I can pick just ONE favorite tool…so – I have decided to give you my favorite tool for each of the lives I lead:

@AFlyOnTheWall – Social Media Manager:
Online, my Favorite Tool would also have to be my number ONE productivity tool – HootSuite – it offers you the ability to manage multiple accounts in one place and to schedule posts.

@GemShows – Blogger, Maker, Student:
I live for the brief moments when I am able to find time to work at my bench, take a workshop or learn a new technique.  However, one thing I have noticed with age, is that some of the things I love to do the most…HURT!  So – my favorite tools are the range of bending and hammering tools that I have picked up from Jewelry Tools by Miland.  They make repetitive tasks easier and hammering less jarring on these old bones 😉

@Tucson_Gem_Show – Blogger, Student and basic “know it all”:
NUMBER ONE most important thing for first timers and tenth timers to do is bookmark the Tucson EZ-Guide page…and updates or changes are applied as they occur.  When you see the map at the bottom of the page you realize that this is not one single huge show…it is 40+ separate shows, spread across the city of Tucson.  The only way that you can go for a couple days is to be prepared…this webpage will help you do just that…well as figuring out if the lodging you are looking at is close to the shows important to you!  Then, once you get to Tucson,  pick up a hard copy…

…oh and one more thing – if you plan to purchase gems – you need a 10X Jewelers Loupe…I always have mine (new fangled type with an LED light) with me.

Now – take a minute to see which tool my fellow members of the Blog-o-sphere Think Tank
chose as their favorite…
