This bracelet is made of alternating round 6mm and 9mm aquamarine gemstones embellished by sterling silver beads and bad caps. The aquamarine is so gorgeous! It is a translucent aqua blue.
The bracelet closes with a large sterling silver lobster clasp, and measures 7 1/2 inches (19cm) in length, and will fit an average sized wrist.
Aquamarine is March's birthstone. It is a blue variety of the mineral beryl (emerald is the green variety of beryl).
About sterling silver:
Sterling silver is an alloy consisting of a minimum of 92.5% silver (the other 7.5% is typically copper). I choose to use solid sterling instead of plated metal in my work because it is my experience that plating wears off. Properly cared for sterling silver lasts a lifetime.
