Dear Michael,
I would love to be able to take one of your workshops, particularly the upcoming carved and pierced bezel class. Unfortunately I will not be in AZ. Was wondering if you ever get to Los Angeles? Also, do you sell any instructional DVDs.
Thank you,
Christi Schimpke
Hi Christi,
My preference for teaching is through hands-on workshops and private instruction.
I believe the best transmission of insight and empowerment is still a human to human
interface. There is a lot of subtlety and finesse to proper acquisition of traditional and
fundamental skill in goldsmithing and my experience is that in-person instruction is of
most value.
