7000 Bracelets for Hope

by John Rasmussen on April 8, 2011

Rasmussen Gems and Jewelry LLC will be participating in a “Blog Hop” on April 16th. This is part of the 7000 Bracelets for Hope project by the Rare Disease Project. The Blog Hop is being sponsored by Lori Anderson, who is an artisan jeweler and a patient with a rare disease. The rare disease organization has the slogan: “Hope, It’s in our genes.” So the project color is blue. Each bracelet being donated should have some blue in it. My first bracelet, the blue is obvious with the tourquoise beads. In the second bracelet, the blue is much more subtle, it is in the blue sheen that the reflection of the tiger eye agate provides. Both bracelets were designed and crafted just for this Blog Hop. Follow the hyperlink to Lori Anderson’s blog for more information about the Hop. 7000 Bracelets for Hope 7000 Bracelets for Hope Click on the thumbnail to see a larger image of each bracelet. This was a fun project and I have enjoyed designing and making the bracelets. John
