My own blog. What to write about? I’ve mulled over this for several weeks, and decided to write about one of my favorite pendants that I’ve made. I made it quite a while ago, in the early 1990′s. I bought a fabulous Luna Agate cab from one of my favorite stone dealers, Donald Olson. It has burgundy, white, and a soft blue hue to it. I matched it up with two Mojave Blue chalcedony cabs, real nice ones, blue with a pink overtone. The garnet came next, it paired beautifully with the burgundy color in the Luna agate. It certainly is the biggest piece I’ve done, at 3 inches in length. I textured the area around the stones to give it some variety. To finish it off, I strung it on garnet, sterling and howlite beads. I hope you like it as much as I do!
