Uploading and inserting images
Step 1: Open a new post, or the one you want to insert an image or images into. place the cursor where you want to insert the image.
Step 2: Click on the “Add media” button at the top right of the editor area.

Step 3: Click on the “Choose files to upload” button to upload a picture from your computer or alternatively choose from URL to use images from other website.

Step 4: Navigate to the location of the images you wish to upload and then select the file or files to upload. To select multiple files, ctrl-click (Windows) or cmd-click (Mac) the file names you wish to upload and when done, click the “Select” button (name may vary by Operating System).
Step 5: Once the files have uploaded, the window will change to show something similar to what you see below. Click “Save all changes” to finish the upload.

Step 6: Click on the “Media Library” tab at the top of the window (above) and the window will change to something similar to what you see below. Click anywhere in the row with the image you wish to insert – or on the “Show” link at right, or on the thumbnail at the left side.

Step 7: Scroll down in the resultant box and you can
- choose if you want the image linked to the image file in your uploads, or to the post page, or you can enter any URL you wish.
- Choose the alignment of the image in the post.
- Choose what size image you wish to insert (thumbnail, medium or full size).
When you are done with your changes, click on the “Insert into Post” button and you will be taken back to your post or page editor and within a few seconds, the image will show up where you had the cursor.
That is pretty much it. To insert additional images you can click on either the Add an Image, or “Add Media” buttons and then click on the “Media Library” link at the top of the window that comes up, select another image and insert it in the same way (Steps 6 and 7).
Edit an image, click anywhere on an image from the writing window than click on the “image” button to bring up the edit dialogue.
