I am a recent graduate of Arcadia University in Philadelphia. This is work from my thesis show entitled "Emotional armor". Emotional Armor Relationships with friends, family and lovers are complex and intimate interactions. My work is a metaphor for the invisible armor that determines how deeply we allow others to affect us, or to the extent in which we affect those who surround us. Our experiences and personal history dictate how this protection manifests. This body of work is an autobiographical visualization of the emotional armor every individual wears. |
