    I have found that most new engravers don't  sharpen the engraver
    enough they think it is sharp but in reality it isn't . Check and see
    with a lope also the thumb nail test if it diges in the nail  when
    lightly pushed it's sharp Don in Idaho sunny maybe 50 this wk
