This book may well be worthwhile, but the problems with photographing
my stuff won't be included. Titanium, which I texture and color to
create imagery, shows different colors depending on the angle,
lighting, etc. Its lighting needs are quite different from those of
the surrounding silver. My photographer, who has worked with me on
this for many years, does a great job, and it costs me plenty to pay
for the inevitable adjustment and readjustment of the lights and
    reflectors.

I pay for this for my slides, but I cannot possibly duplicate his
equipment, space, or expertise. So for any other type of
documentation, I must edit, and even his best efforts, as I said,
can be made more accurate with some tweaking.

My point here is that it is hardly ever a one-size-fits-all world.
As I believe Einstein said, things should be made absolutely as
simple as possible-- and no simpler!
