    M. Jones, you might try Kinko's Copies, they almost always have a person on
staff who will make rubber stamps or order them, and they are usually quite
inexpensive. If you intend to make many patterns, however, you might want
to check into buying a Model Master system. (check other messages relating)
This is very useful for making rubber molds; your design reversed on a
clear sheet, like acetate (again, available at Kinko's for about $3.00), is
reproduced in the light-sensitive polymer material used in the Model
Master. The literature accompanying the unit says this polymer can be
invested and burned out, but I have found the results to be unsatisfactory.
I use the unit to make rubber molds when the design is not complex. Also
check Redray1's message about Owosso Graphics, they do a great job of
etching magnesium (?) plates for really great masters to mold from.
