< Hello. My name is Marshall Jones and I am subscribed to the Orchid Digest.
< I read your message pertaining to hand damage, and I was just wondering how
< using citric acid as a pickle works. How does it compare to the more common
< sulphuric acid based pickles? What kind of dilution are you using and where
< do you get the acid. Is it chemically pure?? I personally don't reall
< like the sulphuric stuff, would be interested in changing.

Hi Marshall, we use citric acid in a 10% solution (in water), but just
about... . We get it from a drugstore, you could try a pharmacist. Lethal
dosis 25g (0.9oz.av.). You can add a teaspoon of salt to half na pint.
    Pureness isn't a problem.
