A triangular Opal freeform from "Turkey Ridge" field Coober Pedy, South Australia - A Crystal Solid Opal wieghing 9.33 carats. I cut, polished and designed this piece with diamond syringe compounds (8 steps) and a hand Dremel tool with felt bobs. This brilliant Gem Opal sizes at 20mm x 20mm and literally has every hue and pattern of color, reflecting the "many moods" of the finest Opals and the final owner. The "ARTSY" and very moody--Pendant is 14 kt gold cast from my wax design and measures 2 inches tall and 1 inch wide. The chain is 16" total length and permanently attached to each ear of the pendant. Then there are 2 rectangles diamonds, and 3 rounds at all corners totaling 3/8 ct. Finally a 8mm trillion shape Medium Blue Topaz that just highlights the calmness we need with the many moods and many shapes of our lives.
